Database Administrator III


JOB DUTIES:

    Responsible for ensuring database performance, integrity, and security. Will utilize advanced knowledge of database management systems, including knowledge of, and experience with, database administration software, tools and technologies, to assist Project Manager in administering, testing and implementing database management systems. Duties include the following:
  • Coordinate and monitor database planning, development, configuration, installation, administration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor the testing of programs or databases, correction of identified errors, and implementation of necessary modifications.
  • Monitor the modification of existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
  • Monitor database upgrades to latest version as well as application of patches.
  • After conferring with Project Manager, plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
  • Guide database development and determine project scope and limitations.
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
  • Train users and serve as point person to answer questions.
  • Lead activities in connection with specifying users and user access levels for each database segment and coordinate database backup and restoration.
  • Assist Project Manager in scheduling, planning, installing and testing new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases.
  • Review project requests with Project Manager and describe database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
  • Assist Project Manager in development of standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.

Network Engineer II


JOB DUTIES:

    Utilize advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts to design and implement computer networks. Job duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Determine network requirements and perform analysis to create S0Ws and provide time estimates for project milestones and completion.
  • Create Internal Network configuration in routing, switching and security.

JOB DUTIES:

    Assist Project Manager with software projects designed to improve and/or implement computer systems by analyzing, designing, modifying, testing, and implementing specialized software applications. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts, along with advanced experience with programming tools and technologies, to perform the following job duties:
  • Lead the analysis of user needs and gathering of business requirements and the development of technical, functional, and design documentation;
  • Monitor project team members who develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve documents, data, and information;
  • Oversee trial runs of computer programs and software applications to produce desired information;
  • Coordinate writing, updating, and maintenance of computer programs/software packages that handle tasks such as tracking inventory and data retrieval;
  • Monitor activities in connection with debugging and unit and integration testing of modules, as well as performance of revisions, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements;

Quality Assurance Analyst III


JOB DUTIES:

    Assist Project Manager in monitoring activities of project team members, including quality assurance analysts, engineers, and testers, who develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts, including knowledge of operating system, program testing, and web platform development software, to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Coordinate design of test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures and monitor and review test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Assist Project Manager in directing and monitoring the development of testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
  • Coordinate documentation of software defects and analyze and report defects to software developers.
  • Monitor project activities, such as the identification, analysis, and documentation of problems/issues with program function, output, online screen, or content.
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
  • Work with Project Manager to ensure creation and maintenance of databases of known test defects.

Sr. Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft)


JOB DUTIES:

    Under limited supervision, individuals will utilize advanced theoretical knowledge of subject matter principles and concepts, as well as experience with PeopleSoft applications, to identify complex issues, review information to develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions which strengthen the operational effectiveness and system functionality of PeopleSoft applications. Job duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Analyze, define and interpret Human Resources needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the user(s) technical (functional/non-functional) requirements and ensuring that these requirements are understood and implemented by the IT development team.
  • Oversee the provision of technical support in design, development, testing and deployment of Peoplesoft applications.
  • Monitor the development and modification of SQL Statements where required in tools objects, including App Engine and PS Query.
  • Monitor and report project status to Director on a regular basis.
  • Develop solutions that solve the most complex technical and/or business issues.
  • Coordinate detailed testing at various stages, and ensure results are validated before releasing new versions to end users.
